Salt Water Benefits

Softer Skin

Less Maintenance

  • Eliminate Bromine Tablets and Floaters. No more annoying floater bobbing around in the water hitting you while you are trying to enjoy your tub. You'll never again have to buy, transport, store or load bromine tablets into a feeder.
  • Reduce the frequency of water changes. Most Salt Water Spas only require water changes twice per year. For health reasons, traditional hot tubs generally require a water change every 1-3 months even if the water seems fine. Traditional methods of sanitizing, such as Bromine pucks etc., contain additives and fillers and glues which build up in your spa water. This buildup is measured as TDS or Total Dissolved Solids. Salt Water Spas generate bromine directly from the salt, reducing the rate of TDS buildup and therefore reducing the need for frequent water changes.
  • No more need for mid winter water changes. No more need to fumble around with frozen hoses and water taps in the dead of winter just to change unhealthy water with high TDS.
  • Significantly reduce water maintenance. The use of salt water systems in your spa help to stabilize your spa water. The more stable your water the less need for chemicals, furthur reducing your TDS buildup
  • Eliminate Regular Shocking. As you use your spa, simply press the boost button to compensate for the increased need for shock.

Less Smell

Less Smell

  • With conventional bromine sanitation, after the sanitizer molecule burns up an organic particle, it turns into bromamine. These by-products cause an odour in your spa as well as increasing the TDS of your water. In a Salt Water spa, salt is converted into bromine and then recycles back into salt once it has done its' job of sanitizing. This perpetual cycle does not create bromamines and thus leaves your spa free of the cloudy, flat water attributed to the buildup of the these chemical by-products.

Green Product

It's Environmentally Friendly

  • Conserve water. The average hot tub holds about 1,500 litres of water. Since you only need to change your water twice a year the average annual water savings can be 3,000 litres or more.

Save Money

Save Money

  • Salt Water Spas use less energy
Since a salt water spa requires considerably less frequent water changes, you will not need to re-heat the new water as often, saving on your energy bill.
